Familiarisation Trips and Story Ideas
A familiarisation trip to Lincolnshire will give a taste of what the county has to offer a visitor.
We’d love to show you the best our county has to offer by arranging a media trip for you.
Why Lincolnshire?
Lincolnshire is a county of surprising contrasts, yet still one of Britain's best kept secrets. There's so many things to do and see; from exploring the quiet villages, coastlines and the gentle rolling hills of the Wolds, to relaxing in the peaceful wilderness of the Fens.
Alternatively, you can escape to one of the jolly, bustling seaside resorts such as Skegness or Cleethorpes – or relax on the quieter coast where seabirds soar and the shore stretches for miles.
There are many fine churches, stately homes, tranquil gardens and museums; and charming towns such as Stamford, Grantham and Lincoln City with their fine stone architecture, narrow lanes with many historical connections. Lincolnshire makes the perfect escape for a day visit, short break or more relaxing holiday, and a trip will give you firsthand experience of them all.
Popular familiarisation trips are listed below, or Lincolnshire Tourism can produce a tailor made one to suite your needs.
